About the job - Account Manager (SaaS / PropTech)

A growing property technology company is entering a new phase of go-to-market expansion, with a strong focus on unlocking revenue from its existing customer base.

With an established footprint across North America and a large portfolio of underutilized accounts, the business is now investing in its first dedicated Account Management function. This role will play a key part in building that function from the ground up.


You’ll step into a book of business with significant untapped potential, where many customers have had limited proactive engagement to date. With new products launching across AI, mobile, and payments, there is a clear opportunity to drive meaningful expansion across existing accounts.

This is a unique opportunity to join as the first Account Manager, take ownership of customer relationships post-sale, and help define how account management is done moving forward.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts across property management organizations
  • Drive expansion through upsell, cross-sell, and portfolio penetration (adding new properties and products)
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities within your accounts
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and operational teams
  • Lead regular customer conversations, including check-ins and business reviews
  • Re-engage inactive or underutilized accounts and rebuild momentum
  • Present product enhancements, new features, and value-driven solutions to customers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Implementation teams
  • Manage and track expansion pipeline within a CRM (HubSpot)


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar client-facing SaaS role
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through upsell, cross-sell, or account expansion
  • Experience managing multiple accounts with various stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable having commercial conversations and owning revenue targets
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate without a defined playbook
  • Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)


Nice to Have

  • Experience in PropTech, real estate, or property management
  • Exposure to payments or financial products
  • Experience in a high-growth or scaling SaaS environment


Compensation

  • Base: $80,000 - $90,000 CAD
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • OTE: ~$140,000 (conservative) to $150,000–$175,000+
